Greater Atlanta Christian senior Jasmine Jones, one of the nation’s top track and field recruits, announced Wednesday that she will sign with the University of Southern California.
Jones, who won the 100-meter hurdles in 13.20 seconds at this year’s Pan-American Under-20 Championships, is a two-time Daily Post athlete of the year and has won 11 state track and field titles.
She was named the Gatorade Georgia girls track and field athlete of the year in June. She won a state title in the long jump and the 200-meter dash while defending her title in the 100 hurdles as a junior.
Jones was the high-point scorer for Class AAA and led the Spartans to their third state title in four years.
