LAWRENCEVILLE — Third-ranked Central Gwinnett edged River Ridge 1-0 Thursday in the second round of the Class AAAAAA boys soccer playoffs.

The Black Knights (17-2-1) scored the game-winning goal with less than two minutes remaining, earning an Elite Eight matchup against seventh-ranked Lakeside-DeKalb on May 5.
