Six Gwinnett softball players to compete in Chinese Taipei

Six Gwinnett softball players and their Atlanta Premier 18-and-under fastpitch softball team are headed to Chinese Taipei for a series of games from Feb. 19-23.

Peyton Fointno (Collins Hill), Madison Simmons (Collins Hill), Shea Bayreuther (Buford), Tiffany Haung (Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology), Sarah Barbiaz (Mountain View) and Payton Shells (Archer) will face Chinese and Korean teams in the event. The players will be based out of Taichung, Taiwan.

The Chinese Taipei Softball Association invited the team.
