Five-star rising senior wing Brandon Boston, right, is transferring from Norcross to national powerhouse Sierra Canyon High School of Los Angeles.

One of Gwinnett County basketball’s top rising seniors is leaving the county, as well as the state of Georgia.

Norcross’ Brandon Boston will transfer to California and national powerhouse Sierra Canyon High School of Los Angeles, according to multiple published reports.

There, the 6-foot-7 wing will join a growing super team that includes fellow transfers Bronny James, the son of NBA All-Star LeBron James, Zaire Wade, the son the elder James’ one-time teammate Dwyane Wade, and Ziaire Williams, as well as current Sierra Canyon stars Terren Frank, Amari Bailey and Harold Yu.

Boston is a three-year letter winner for Norcross, during which he helped Norcross to the Class AAAAAAA state Final Four each season, and has been a Daily Post All-County selection the past two seasons,

Included in that run is a first-team All-County selection after leading the Blue Devils in scoring at 18.4 points per game, as well as averaging 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.9 steals and 0.9 blocked shots per game.

He is a consensus five-star selection for the Class of 2020 by most recruiting services, and is the second highly ranked player to transfer from Norcross this summer after three-star guard Caleb Murphy moved to Grayson, joining another highly touted rising senior in former Shiloh forward Toneari Lane.
