North Gwinnett rising senior Brandt Pancer announced his commitment Friday night to the Stanford University baseball program.

Pancer was a first-team all-county selection as a junior by the Daily Post and the Gwinnett Dugout Club. The right-hander went 11-1 with a 1.34 ERA and 84 strikeouts in 73 1/3 innings for the Bulldogs’ state playoff team.

As a sophomore, Pancer was 6-4 with a 3.51 ERA and 35 strikeouts. He also pitched on the varsity team as a freshman, going 4-0 with a 2.99 ERA.
