North Gwinnett's Julie Manners joins Duluth's Denver Bryant as two of only eight players from Georgia and 90 players nationwide selected to participate in the Softball Elite Development Invitational camp running his week in Vero Beach, Fla.

Two Gwinnett County high school softball players have been selected to participate in the Softball Elite Development Invitational, which began last Friday in Vero Beach, Fla.

Duluth’s Denver Bryant and North Gwinnett’s Julie Manners are among eight players from Georgia and 90 nationwide chosen to take part in the camp, which is part of Major League Baseball’s Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities program.

The camp, which runs through Thursday, is geared toward providing training, instruction, and seminars to the girls from former Olympians, USA Softball players and coaches.
