Five female junior golfers, including Duluth's Iris Cao, advanced to the 2019 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship following Tuesday's sectional qualifier at Cartersville Country Club.

Megan Schofill of Monticello, Fla., took home medalist honors after a 5-under-par 67 during her round, which included seven total birdies. Schofill is also the defending Georgia Women's Match Play champion after taking home the trophy last month at Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville.

Cao, Isabella Van Der Biest of Kingsport, Tenn., and Savannah Hylton of Hilton Head Island, S.C., each fired a 1-under-par 71 to round out the five players moving on to the 71st U.S. Girls' Junior Championship next month at Sentry World in Stevens Point, Wis.
