Archer senior Myles Collins ran the nation’s third-fastest time in the mile this weekend in the Clemson High School Invitational.

Collins won the race in 4 minutes, 14.01 seconds, almost 10 seconds ahead of the runner-up. Norcross senior Gabriel Schlicht was fifth in 4:27.26.

Archer senior Sarah McCartney was eighth in the girls mile in 5:22.74.

Shiloh’s Jazmine Hobson was third in the girls 200 (24.72) and Shiloh’s Jaden Barker was seventh in the boys 400 (54.22).
