Shiloh senior Ben Taylor celebrates after capturing the Generals' first county swimming title since 2003.
Shiloh senior Ben Taylor has signed a letter of intent with the Queens University (N.C.) swimming program. He is the son of Eugene and Chris Taylor.
Taylor, who played baseball his first two years at Shiloh, is a four-year letter winner in swimming who won the Gwinnett County title in the 100-yard backstroke last month. He is the Generals' first county champion in swimming since 2003.
He also was sixth at county in the 200 freestyle and has qualified for state in six events. He is ranked in the Generals' all-time top five in six different events.
