SAVANNAH — Wesleyan tried to say close to state-ranked Calvary Day, but the No. 2 state-ranked Cavaliers pulled away for a 35-0 victory in the second round of the Class A Private state football playoffs Friday night at the Calvary Day Specialty Sports Complex.

Byrne Ahrenkiel led the defensive effort with eight tackles, while Townes Hardy added an interception for the seventh-ranked Wolves, who end the season at 8-4.
