Cooper Blauser

Wesleyan junior Cooper Blauser committed Friday to the Clemson University baseball program. He is the son of former Atlanta Braves infielder Jeff Blauser.

Blauser hit .352 with two home runs and 37 RBIs during the 2019 high school season. His 2020 season was cut short by the coronavirus pandemic.

Blauser also was a wide receiver and defensive back for the Wolves’ state runner-up football team last year. He had 69 catches (third-best in Gwinnett) for 954 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had 67 tackles and two interceptions on defense.
