U48 Fitness will host its annual Youth Football Camp at Rabbit Hill Park on Saturday.
Camp for 6- to 10-year-olds is from 8 to 10 a.m., and camp for 11- to 14-year-olds is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $45.
Athletes will go through offensive and defensive drills, as well as speed and agility work and pro combine testing in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard pro shuttle, broad jump and three-cone drill.
U48 is led by former Gwinnett athletes Manny Rodriguez and Justin Taylor, the company’s founders. They work alongside fellow college and pro athletes like Edmund Kugbila, Joe Jones and B.J. Clay. In addition to training local athletes, U48 trains college and NFL players, including a crop of athletes each year who prepare for the NFL Combine.
For the second straight year, the camp includes athletes who are sponsored by The Edwin Jackson Foundation. Camp participants also get 50 percent off youth sports training classes in July.
Camp registration is open at www.U48Fitness.com.
