Five Gwinnett golfers posted top-10 finishes at Georgia State Golf Association’s state junior championships this week.
Duluth resident Sara Im was runner-up in the GSGA Girls Championship with an even-par 216 over the three-day tournament. She shot 70 in the first round and follow it up with a pair of 73s.
Duluth’s Iris Cao (73-76-78) and Lilburn’s Thienna Huynh (75-74-78) tied for eighth.
In the GSGA Junior Championship, Shaun Cook of Peachtree Corners tied for sixth at 4-under 212 (73-70-69). Dacula resident Jackson Buchanan tied for 10th at 3-under 213 (71-70-72).
