Providence Christian won the Silver Division title of the Gwinnett County Volleyball Championships at Parkview on Saturday.

LILBURN — Providence Christian won the Silver Division title of the Gwinnett County Volleyball Championships at Parkview on Saturday.

The Storm (26-14) defeated Grayson in the championship match 25-20, 25-19, following earlier wins over Collins Hill (25-14, 25-16) and Mountain View (25-19, 30-28).

Alaina Emminger had 38 kills and 11 digs, upping her career kills total past the 1,000 mark, a first for a Providence player. The Storm also got 13 aces from Taylor Lewis and 12 digs and 38 assists from Lauren Yost.

Brookwood splits matches

LILBURN — Brookwood split its matches Saturday in the Gwinnett County Volleyball Championships at Parkview.

The Broncos posted a 25-18, 25-20 win over Dacula, setting up a match with Buford, which defeated Brookwood 25-17, 25-20.

Brookwood's leaders were Abbey Tucker (35 assists), Sophia Koop (14 kills, 14 digs), Amber Williams (10 kills, 15 digs), Cydney Gardner (10 kills, three aces) and Ellie Rey (18 digs).
