DACULA – Grayson's Kylie Macy tossed a complete game no-hitter and struck out 14 to lead the Rams to a 3-0 win over host Dacula on Wednesday.

Kelsie Walker delivered a two-run home run to pace the offense. Aaliyah White had two hits and Emma Davis added a hit and an RBI for the Rams (1-0).

SOFTBALL

Meadowcreek 27, Discovery 26

NORCROSS – Meadowcreek downed visiting Discovery 27-26 in a softball game played Wednesday. The Titans (0-2) were led by Mya McDonald who had four hits and five RBIs. Angelica Eotin added three hits and drove in four, Jasmine Richardson had three hits and three RBIs while Aniya Garcia contributed three hits.

Mill Creek 8, West Forsyth 0

HOSCHTON – Mill Creek opened its season with a 8-0 shutout win over visiting West Forsyth on Wednesday. Sara Shaw went six innings in the circle and allowed two hits while striking out five to earn the win for the Hawks (1-0).

Dallis Goodnight paced the offense with two hits, an RBI and stole four bases. Olivia Shaw recorded two hits, scored twice and stole two bags. Helena Nagy doubled twice and drove in two while Alora Bevily contributed two hits, stole two bases and drove in a run.

Peachtree Ridge 4, Forsyth Central 3

SUWANEE – Peachtree Ridge rallied to defeat Forsyth Central 4-3 in pool play in the Rumble at the Ridge Tournament on Wednesday. The Lions (2-0) trailed 3-0 when they erupted for all four of its runs in the third inning. Madison Strange provided a bases clearing double and Alex Harris had an RBI single to make a winner of Lee Lunsford (2-0). Lunsford went three innings in relief and allowed three hits and no earned runs.

Norcross 8, Pace Academy 2

ATLANTA – Norcross notched its first win of the season as it downed host Pace Academy 8-2 on Wednesday. Sierra Blackburn was the winning pitcher, going the distance and helping herself at the plate with a two-run double.

Ann-Margaret Jones had three hits, including a triple, and drove in a pair of runs to lead the offense. Kedzie Howe, Lea Smith and Faith Lawrence each had two hits for the Blue Devils (1-1).

Parkview 11, Shiloh 2

SNELLVILLE – Parkview opened its season with an 11-2 win over host Shiloh on Wednesday. Ashleigh Lawson, Addie Stewman and Lauren Buchanan each had two hits for the Panthers (1-0). Maya Watson went the distance to earn the win in the circle.

Buford 4, Lambert 2

BUFORD – Buford doubled up Lambert 4-2 in the Rumble at the Ridge pool play hosted by the Wolves on Wednesday. Ansleigh Hollifield earned the win in the circle, going five innings and allowing one hits and striking out six. Olivia Duncan tossed two-thirds of an inning to notch the save.

Kara Taylor had a two-run home run in the first inning to stake Buford to an early lead. Abbi Perkins had two hits and drove in a run while Emma Castorri also drove in a run with a hit for the Wolves (1-0).

Wesleyan 8, Westminster 0

PEACHTREE CORNERS – Wesleyan's Madison Kerpics and Jessica Nolan combined on a six inning no-hitter as the Wolves defeated Westminster 8-0 on Wednesday. Kerpics threw five innings and whiffed 10 while Nolan held the Wildcats hitless in her one inning in the circle.

Gracie Taylor had two hits and an RBI to lead the offense. Nolan added two hits, Kerpics helped her own cause with a hit and two RBIs while Elizabeth Bertram added a hit and stole three bases for Wesleyan (2-0).
