Parkview running back Cody Brown will receive one of the top honors Thursday during the Touchdown Club of Atlanta Awards Banquet, hosted at the College Football Hall of Fame.

Brown earned the Junior Little Peach award as the club’s top junior football player. Mr. Georgia went to Dalton senior running back Jahmyr Gibbs, while the Sophomore Little Peach was Rabun County quarterback Gunnar Stockton and the Freshman Little Peach was Blessed Trinity running back Justice Haynes.

The Touchdown Club of Atlanta All-Star Team also will be celebrated at the event. Gwinnett’s selections to the prestigious team are North Gwinnett wide receiver Josh Downs, Greater Atlanta Christian offensive lineman Myles Hinton, Buford offensive lineman Seth McLaughlin, North Gwinnett defensive end Jared Ivey and Lanier linebacker Phillip Webb.
