Roger Parham has retired after 30 years in education and coaching, mostly in Gwinnett County. He had a large impact and colleagues and student-athletes alike as a head coach and assistant in both baseball and softball at his own alma mater South Gwinnett, as well as Mill Creek and Brookwood.

Longtime Gwinnett coach Roger Parham was inducted into the Georgia Dugout Club Softball Hall of Fame over the weekend.

Parham, a 1983 South Gwinnett grad, retired from the Gwinnett County Public Schools system after the 2018-19 school year. His long coaching career includes stops at South (head baseball, head softball), Mill Creek (head softball, assistant baseball) and Brookwood (assistant baseball, assistant softball).

He led South to the 1997 state championship in softball.
