LILBURN — Gwinnett track and field athletes excelled at Saturday’s Parkview Invitational.

The host Panthers won the boys championship with 251 points to Campbell’s 152 and third-place Buford’s 110. Parkview’s girls finished as runner-up to Campbell (147) with 113 points. Buford’s girls were fourth.

Six Parkview athletes won individual events, including wins in the boys 100- and 200-meter dash by Leon Christian. Christian won the 100 in 10.89 seconds and the 200 in 21.99.

Teammate Malik Thompson won the triple jump (45 feet, 8 3/4 inches), Tristan Autry was first in the 800 (1:59.15) and Andrew Todd won the 3,200 (10:05.72).

The Parkview girls winners were Alaye Barnum in the triple jump (36-0) and Kyla Turner in the shot put (31-5 1/2).

Meadowcreek got first-place finishes from two boys — Kendall Campbell in the discus (145-2) and Quincy Bonner in the 110 hurdles (14.72).

Buford boys won both the 400 relay (42.60) and the 1,600 relay (3:25.97). The 400 relay featured Malik Williams, Victor Venn, Jamarius Isaac and Isaiah Bond. Williams and Bond also ran on the 1,600 relay with Anthony Edwards and Ben Archer.
