The Gwinnett Daily Post is once again launching its High School Football Pick’em contest. Each week, users can pick the winners of that week’s high school games.
For the fifth year, FlatOut Automotive in Buford is sponsoring the contest — giving away a Sony 4K Upscaling 3D Streaming Blu-Ray Disc Player each week this season to the user with the most correct games.
The competition has been one of the more popular contests that the Daily Post manages in past years.
“We are very excited to have FlatOut sponsoring the contest again,” said Will Hammock, sports editor of the Daily Post. “It makes following our high school football coverage at www.gwinnettprepsports.com even more enjoyable for our readers.”
Gwinnett’s football season begins with 12 regular-season games Friday, Aug. 23, followed by four Corky Kell Classic Games on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The other contests include Pick’em competitions in college and pro football. Prizes for the college and pro winners include gift cards from Friends American Grille and Marlow’s Tavern, tickets to Aurora Comedy Nights Club Comedy on the Square and the Fernbank Museum and prize packs from Amerigroup RealSolutions in health care.
