Each week during the winter sports season the Daily Post will honor a Fans Choice Winter Athlete of the Week based on fan voting during the week at www.gwinnettprepsports.com. Sport: Basketball
Last week: Scored 42 points in a win over Parkview, scored 32 against Norcross and had 20 points vs. Johns Creek
Taniya McGowan
School: Archer
Sport: Basketball/flag football
Last week: Had 26 points and 10 rebounds in a victory over Cedar Shoals, and led the Tigers to the Gwinnett County title in flag football
