Hayden Olsen boots the game-winning field goal in overtime during Buford’s 17-14 win over Warner Robins in the Class AAAAA State Championship Game last Friday at Georgia State Stadium in Atlanta. The title was the 12th for the Wolves, and their first since 2014.

Buford senior Hayden Olsen committed to the Tennessee Tech University football program this week.

The kicker/punter was a first-team all-county selection by the Daily Post last season after making 9 of 11 field goals and scoring 84 points, fourth-best in Gwinnett. He also led Gwinnett with a 39.1-yard punting average, and 70 of his 85 kickoffs went for touchbacks.

Olsen also provided game-winning field goals in the state championship game against Warner Robins and in the state quarterfinals against Carrollton.
