Buford gymnastics seniors
Lily McGregor PhotographyBUFORD — The Buford gymnastics team won its final home meet of the season, the Seeing Green Invitational, on Saturday at Gymnastix Training Center.
Buford posted a season-best score of 113.1 for its fifth victory of the season, finishing ahead of a field that included Carrollton, North Oconee, Oconee County, Etowah, Camden County, Allatoona and Harrison.
The Wolves also honored senior gymnasts Marissa Ashton, Hailey Aycock and Lily Black, along with senior manager Reece Pomerantz.
Ashton won the all-around title with a score of 38.6, taking first on bars (9.6), first on beam (9.6), second on floor (9.9) and second on vault (9.5). Abby Hamilton was third on bars (9.4) and Jillian Hynds was third on beam (9.4).
