CONYERS — Brookwood’s Reese Saddler won the individual girls title, and the Parkview girls took first in the team standings at Saturday’s Area 4-AAAAAAA Cross Country Championships.

Parkview finished with 65 points to stay in front of runner-up Mill Creek (72) and third-place Brookwood (76). North Gwinnett (fifth, 103) and Norcross (sixth, 118) also qualified for state.

Saddler’s winning time was 19 minutes, 29.13 seconds. She was backed up by teammates Allie Wardle (10th, 20:20.54) and Emma Ingalls (19th, 20:57.52).

Parkview’s first-place team was led by top-10 finishers Abi Debebe (fourth, 19:57.90) and Claire Mills (seventh, 20:14.44), as well as Elise Musser (12th, 20:31.87) and Emma Geaney (14th, 20:32.60).

Runner-up Mill Creek got a fifth-place finish from Isabelle Hahn (20:08.45). The Hawks’ other scorers were Andrea Montes (13th, 20:32.39), Edith Kahiga (15th, 20:32.99), Michaela Polk (20th, 20:58.01) and Jordyn Purnell (21st, 20:58.75).

Mountain View’s Madison Watts was one of the top individuals, placing third in 19:57.59.

Norcross had two runners in the top 10 — Merritt Blum in eighth (20:15.09) and Claudia Gatti in ninth (20:16.55).

North was led by Makenna Kulzer (11th, 20:21.16) and Erica Hambacker (17th, 20:49.76). Collins Hill’s Sacha Brickey was 16th (20:44.40) and Discovery’s Sol Mendoza was 18th (20:49.80).
