LAWRENCEVILLE — Norcross, ranked eighth in Class AAAAAAA, rolled past Discovery 78-39 for a Region 7-AAAAAAA boys basketball win on Wednesday.
London Johnson had 18 points, Samarion Bond and Jerry Deng scored 15 each and Michael Zhang made four 3-pointers in the win. The Blue Devils also got seven points and seven rebounds from Hezekiah Flagg and six rebounds, five assists and four steals from Mier Panoam.
Archer 66, Duluth 56
DULUTH — Three double-figure scorers, led by 18 points and six rebounds from Damoni Harrison, lifted Archer to a 66-56 win over Duluth in 7-AAAAAAA on Wednesday.
Major Freeman gave the Tigers 16 points, four rebounds and four assists, and Christian Drummer had 13 points, five rebounds and three assists. Mark Peah (five points, two steals), Carl Anderson (five points, three rebounds, two steals) and Seth Means (six points, three rebounds) also contributed in the win.
Duluth's David Culbreath had 18 points, four assists and three rebounds.
North Gwinnett 73, West Forsyth 49
SUWANEE — Sixth-ranked North Gwinnett routed West Forsyth 73-49 on Wednesday.
Dylan Gary led the Bulldogs (11-3) with 20 points. He was backed up by Duke Clayton (14 points), Thomas Allard (12 points), R.J. Godfrey (11 points) and Gunnar Carlberg (eight points).
North finished with 20 assists in the win.
