LAWRENCEVILLE — Mountain View's Spencer Hancock tossed a complete game shutout to propel the Bears to a 6-0 Region 6-AAAAAAA baseball win over Duluth on Wednesday. Hancock allowed three hits while striking out nine.
Nick Hong had three hits, including a solo home run and drove in two runs to lead Mountain View (10-3, 5-0). Jonathan Acosta also launched a solo home run while Justin Manus collected two hits.
Brookwood 18, Central Gwinnett 0 (3 innings)
LAWRENCEVILLE — Brookwood defeated Central Gwinnett 18-0 in three innings in their Region 7-AAAAAAA contest on Wednesday.
Jack Spyke and Trey Marshall ed the offense with three RBIs apiece. Isaiah Jordan added two RBIs while Gary Garrett's two hits and an RBI helped make a winner of Alex Flood for the Broncos (8-5, 1-0).
North Gwinnett 15, Discovery 5 (6 innings)
SUWANEE — North Gwinnett hit four home runs en route to a 15-5, six-inning win over Discovery on Wednesday.
Michael Borah led the offense with three hits and three RBIs. Will Bennett blasted two home runs while Corey Collins and Brandt Pancer also connected on round-trippers for the Bulldogs (10-3, 2-0). Jake Stone added two hits and two RBIs.
Norcross wins two
NORCROSS — Norcross swept a doubleheader from Meadowcreek on Wednesday. The Blue Devils won by scores of 17-0 and 14-0.
Daniel Haad and Camp Stewart were the winning pitchers for Norcross (8-6, 2-0). Garrett Murry had two hits and two RBIs while Nolan Scourtis drove in three runs in the first game. Kyle Blitz drove in three runs in the game two win.
Grayson 10, South Gwinnett 0
LOGANVILLE — Grayson blanked Region 8-AAAAAAA foe South Gwinnett 10-0 on Wednesday. Bradley Blalock went five innings and allowed five hits while striking out eight to earn the win for the Rams (8-5, 2-0).
Blalock helped his own cause at the plate with three hits, scoring two runs and driving in one. Henry Hunter also had three hits while driving in three runs and Ben Scartz added a pair of hits in the win.
Peachtree Ridge 3, Collins Hill 1
SUWANEE — Ryan Sonnier's two run single in the sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Lions to a 3-1 win over Collins Hill on Wednesday.
Sonnier's hit made a winner of Parker Bridwell while Adam Jones pitched the seventh to notch his fourth save for Peachtree Ridge (7-4, 4-1).
North Hall 5, Greater Atlanta Christian 1
GAINESVILLE — North Hall downed Greater Atlanta Christian 5-1 on Wednesday. Colin Helms had two hits to lead the Spartans (6-5-1).

SNELLVILLE — Mountain View defeated Brookwood 16-5 on Wednesday.
Tyler Banfield scored two goals to lead the Broncos (0-5, 0-2).
Mill Creek 16, Collins Hill 2
HOSCHTON — Willie Grieco led the Hawks (5-2, 4-0) with six goals and helped Mill Creek maintain its undefeated region record.
Grieco also had one assist. Sean Proctor had two goals and two assists. Wyatt Peek scored three goals and had one assist. Nick Calabrese had two goals and Will Duffy tallied two assists.

Thomas Montroy, Reuben Dayal and Tawfeeq Mohamed won in singles for the Broncos (10-0, 6-0). Chase Ruff and Michael Porcelli along with Thomas Brookman and Kavin Shankar won in doubles.

LOGANVILLE — Grayson blanked Shiloh 5-0 on Wednesday.

BUFORD — Buford rolled to a 5-0 victory over Johnson-Gainesville on Wednesday, improving to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in Region 8-AAAAA.
Brady Todd, Luke Davidson and Dean Kingsley won in singles. Kyle Ryczek and Todd Goehmann won at No. 1 doubles, and Caleb Williamson and Cameron Tidwell won at No. 2 doubles.

ATLANTA — Greater Atlanta Christian fell to host Westminster 3-2 on Wednesday.
Jack Olinger won in singles and Calvin Dong and Will Hawkins won in doubles for the Spartans (5-3).

DULUTH — North Gwinnett downed host Northview 4-1 on Wednesday.
Cassidy Rebol, Lindsay Kahren and Lizzy Hammond won in singles. Cristina Shields and Elle Hammond took a doubles point for the Bulldogs (7-2).

CUMMING — Brookwood defeated South Forsyth 10-4 on Wednesday. Ellie Rey and Lindley Ward each scored three goals while Danielle LaPlume scored twice for the Broncos (1-4).
