Archer’s Myles Collins crosses the finish line in Carrollton to win the Class AAAAAAA state title.

Archer senior Myles Collins, the Daily Post’s reigning boys cross country runner of the year, has committed to the Georgia Tech running program for cross country and track and field.

Collins won the Class AAAAAAA state championship in the fall with a time of 15 minutes, 46.77 seconds, a course record for the state’s largest classification, and earned first-team All-Metro honors from the Atlanta Track Club. He finished 19th at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships’ South Regional in 15:30.

Collins also maintains a 3.98 GPA.
