Noteworthy: Sam is an excellent student and leader at Archer High School. He is one of the few returning starters on our defense and his leadership and play have been invaluable. Sam is a disruptive force to opponents’ offenses. We also expect him to have another outstanding wrestling season.

Noteworthy: Has a .436 batting average, .522 OBP, .857 SLG, three doubles, a triple, a home run and five RBIs for the month. She is a true leader for our underclassmen as well as the senior class she is a part of. She never gives up, pushes her teammates and is the best third baseman in the county. Just this month, she has been a part of two double plays and only has one error in six games and only two errors total for the year. She leads by example and by having her teammates’ back at all times.

Noteworthy: Jacob is a second-year cheerleader and sophomore at Collins Hill High School and is a member of our Varsity Football Cheerleading Team as well as our first Varsity COED Competition cheerleading team. Jacob continues to contribute as a leader in our program and in the classroom and consistently brings 150 percent as an athlete. He is known for his radiating positivity and is a constant source of light and encouragement on our teams. He is the kind of athlete that you have to drag out of the gym and always strives for improvement.

Noteworthy: Virginia is one of the co-captains for our cross country team. She has and shows leadership qualities without even thinking about it or knowing she is doing it. Her knowledge of the sport and how to run practices have not only been helpful to the team but to me as a coach. All of the team members listen to and look up to her for her advice and motivation to other runners to keep trying to improve their times. I will definitely miss her next year as she graduates and moves onto the next chapter in her life.

His leadership skills are very subtle but effective as they tend to listen to his opinions and follow his lead at practices and meets without him trying. As he graduates later on this year, I and the team will surely miss him as he moves on to bigger and better things.

She has put herself in contention at big meets like NEGA, Bob Blastow and the Gwinnett County Championships, finishing third, eighth and seventh. Emily has led Norcross in all races this year and has run a personal best of 19:28 to put her sixth all-time in Norcross history.

In the classroom, he currently maintains a 3.47 GPA and this past summer he completed the IDEALS Leadership School. Miada is a two-year starter and the most consistent player on the offensive line. In four games, he is averaging an 89 percent blocking grade with 17 pancakes. He moved from playing center to left tackle to help out his team.

Noteworthy: Kaleb is new to high school cross country and has already broken 17:30 twice. He joined us in track last year and had some success, but then he ran a bunch of miles this summer in preparation for the fall. Kaleb has been our one of our top runners in every race for the past month. He's a hard worker and loves the sport. He's a great example of what it means to be a Parkview Panther.

Nazir leads the team in TD's with 6 in 4 games.

Nazir is always looking to assist the team in any way possible and has done so by playing and excelling and numerous positions on offense, defense and special teams. Nazir was named overall player of the game in Week 1 vs Mountain View, scoring 2 TD's as well as overall player of the game vs Archer scoring 2 TDs. Nazir leads the team in TD's with 6 in 4 games.

Noteworthy: Daphne is a dedicated, coachable, and an intelligent student-athlete. She comes to every practice with a good hard-working attitude and is willing to make her teammates better. Daphne shows excellent leadership skills by providing positive feedback to everyone on the team. She is a true example of a student-athlete and has earned recognition of 1st Team All Region this year.

Noteworthy: Daniel is an excellent student and dedicated athlete. Daniel posted varsity times in first year of competition, which moved him from JV to varsity. When workouts become challenging, he rises to the challenge. He continues to press and work hard as he continues to get better.

Noteworthy:Â Mariska has consistently been our #4 girl this season. She is currently the second-fastest freshman in the region. At Wingfoot earlier in the year she ran a personal record by nearly a minute.
