PREP ROUNDUP: Dacula wins on Kozlowski’s two-run homer

DACULA — Katherine Kozolowski hit a walk-off two-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to lift Dacula to a 4-2 win over Grayson on Thursday. The Region 8-AAAAAA win improved the Falcons record to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in the region.

NORCROSS — Norcross overcame an eight run deficit to come back and defeat Duluth 12-11 in the Region 7-AAAAAA opener Thursday for each school. The Blue Devils trailed 9-1 before uncorking an 11-run rally to take a 12-9 lead heading into the seventh before holding on for the win.

WOODSTOCK — Shiloh defeated Pope 10-2 and host Blessed Trinity 12-4 on Saturday. The wins push the Generals record to 5-1 on the season. Adia Polk led the Generals offense by collecting four hits, hitting a 3-run home run and driving in five runs on the afternoon.
