LAWRENCEVILLE -- Mountain View scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to break open a tie game and defeat Lanier 4-1 Wednesday.
Garry Gwaltney pitched two innings in relief to pick up the win. Starter Beau Blair went five innings and fanned nine Longhorns. Alex Dederus has two hits to lead the Bears (1-0).
