Broncos rally late for baseball win over McEachern

POWDER SPRINGS -- Jordan Dykes (1-0) threw 1 shutout innings out of the bullpen and struck out three as No. 3 state-ranked Brookwood (2-0) rallied late to beat the host McEachern Indians 4-3 on Monday.

Blake Schuck retired McEachern in order in the seventh, including a strikeout, to record his first save of the season.

Michael Gouge had a hit and two RBIs to lead the Brookwood offense, while Ryan Woodard and Clint Carr each went 2-for-3, Lucas Sims had a hit and drove in a run and Cedric Mullins went 1-for-2.
