Archer head coach Andy Dyer isn't looking to pile up moral victories for his third-year program. The Tigers dropped a 21-19 game to defending state champion Brookwood last week, but Dyer saw a lot of positives in the loss.

"We just didn't finish the deal. We had a fumble here and a fumble there and you can't do that when you are near the end zone," Dyer said.

"The bottom line is we're not worried about who we play every Friday. It's about us getting better."

Archer has shown dramatic improvement this season. Quarterback Jarvis Holley has taken command of the offense, while Ernest Alexander and Sean Fowler have been threats at running back.

"They've got some size and should have beat Brookwood last week. Archer is pretty good," Berkmar head coach Jonathan Sanks said.

Linebacker Jaden Le and defensive end Derious Mitchell have led the Patriots' defense, while quarterback Deion Perry has been the spark on offense.

"They've got a super quarterback," Dyer said. "He's got a big arm and some kids that can go get it. They've got some great athletes that can beat you."

Last meeting: Berkmar won 35-19 last year
